Norway Folk Culture Museum

The Norway Folk Culture museum had buildings from different areas and from different eras.  Some had vertical siding while had horizontal ones.  Some were resting on stones while others were on wooden stilts.  I think there was an explanation of these things, but I can't remember what it was.

They also had people dressed up from the era.  One girl demonstrated how they played a large horn as a means of communication.

There was also an inside museum that have various carving artifacts.  There was one that I didn't realize was of someone being impaled and spewing out blood.

It was amazing to see the carving and painting inside and out.  This was one of  the most impressive museums I have been to.  See if you can spot the coffee shop camouflaged as a historic building.
