To the Fjords

We had to catch an early train to go to Flan.  The view from the train was said to be one of the highlights of the trip so we were all looking forward to it.  Since the hotel was right next to the train station, there was no stress getting there on time with our luggage.  However, when we arrived at the platform, it was packed.  I didn't think that all those people were going to fit on the train.

We all somehow managed to fit in the train.  We were to take this train to a certain stop and then transfer to the scenic train.  However, there was an announcement during our trip that that other train was cancelled because of some crash or something.  We all had to get off at a different stop and take a bus to Flan.  The scenery was ok, but the bus windows were dirty so I couldn't take any pictures.  I was pretty disappointed with this leg of the trip.

We ended up in Flan and took a boat through the fjords to Balestrand.  Very majestic.
