Early Morning Up the Funicular

We woke up early to go up the famous funicular in Bergen.  I had never heard of that word before, but it is a trolley on tracks that is pulled up the side of the mountain by cables.  We went early so we could spend a good part of the day in the mountains overlooking the city.

There were some trails and a pond on this mountain, but many of the trails were closed.  Silvina and Nina's highlight was a cafe with a unique name that was close to where we could see a monument on the top of the mountain.
